I had a good run this morning. I ran 3 miles after my weight training session. Weight training and running is the perfect combination. Year to date I’ve logged in 611 Miles.
We are at the halfway point of 2020. If I had to choose one word to describe this year, the word that gets top vote in my mind is “unexpected”. This year has been filled with unexpected turn of events both personally and with damn near everyone I know. We are dealing with Covid-19, issues with race, a shaky economy, lost of love ones, and the list goes on and on. I certainly did not expect any of this. Despite all the craziness that’s going on in this world, there is still hope. We can still come out of this on top. The way we do that is by continuing to have faith in God and focusing on the things that we can control. We can’t do anything about the past and the future is not here yet. It’s important that we make good use of the “here” and “now” because, quite frankly, that’s all we have.
I invite you to focus on the here and now. Let’s make the best of it and finish this year strong!
Until next time my friends! Be more, Do more! Let’s Go!
