Wow! This month is flying by! Only 5 days left! I am going to make the most of these last 5 days and finish strong.
I went to the gym and ran 9 miles on the treadmill this morning. During my run I reflected on my goals and the progress I made this month. One of the main things I focused on this month was making sure that I hit my daily goals. Every night I set my plan for the next day. This is proving to be an extremely effective habit.
At my current rate I’ll get in a little over 100 miles for the month. I reviewed the history in my running log and discovered that this will be the best January I’ve had in my 11 year running career. In addition, this will be my first time running over 100 miles in the month of January. This is freakin’ awesome!
I added another event to my 2017 race schedule. I going to run in the SweetHeart Race in Flushing, Michigan on February 11th. I signed up for the 5K. My race count for 2017 is at 22 🏃🏾
